Recent work & more

ASCLD

Redesigned and rebuilt the ASCLD WordPress site in close collaboration with the organization’s leadership and web subcommittee. This project included a comprehensive migration of legacy content, functionality, and database assets into a modern, scalable theme. I am still presently the webmaster for this site.

Summer Pratt Co.

Collaborating with Summer Pratt Co. gave me the opportunity to contribute to high-caliber projects alongside a talented team of creatives. I led development on several custom builds, working in a local environment with Git-based deployment workflows. My role included modifying advanced module layouts mapped to ACF fields, writing custom PHP and JavaScript, and leading a major SEO initiative to improve performance while making technical improvements.

Social Netwit

Since late 2022, I’ve worked closely with Jesse Broome on a range of WordPress projects, completing over ten custom websites for his clients. My role includes full-stack development, hosting configuration on SiteGround, and technical consultation on SEO and site security. I also support visual planning and UX by producing mockups in Sketch and Figma to guide client feedback and approvals.

Denyse

Denyse Signs, based in Atlanta, was referred by a previous client I worked with at Campfire Social. Their marketing team needed a complete overhaul of a visually impressive but cumbersome website gallery experience. I collaborated with the team to evaluate and implement a new gallery plugin, addressing key usability and performance issues. Custom code was written to refine the gallery's UI and ensure it met both aesthetic and functional goals, improving navigation across a large collection of client work.

Lightning Workgroup

Working with the Lightning Workgroup team gave me the opportunity to collaborate with experienced backend developers and project managers on a variety of enterprise-level projects. I provided support across disciplines — from Figma-based design comps and UI refinements to editing both static and dynamic code. I also assisted clients with migrating and setting up Google Business profiles

Baptist Health

Over a ten-year span with the Baptist Health marketing department, I advanced from Junior Developer to Lead Frontend Developer, overseeing major web initiatives including the organization’s first user-centered website and multiple campaign microsites. As a Junior Developer, I assisted with transitioning the main Baptist Health website’s legacy content into a fully responsive, adaptive modular design system. Later, I moved into a remote role where I led site development and deployment for Wolfson Children’s Hospital. My responsibilities included building and maintaining ASP.NET MVC & Core websites with a wide range of framework integrations. I collaborated closely with the inhouse design team to produce engaging, patient-centered digital collateral and managed cross-functional projects using JIRA.
